Supervisor Picture Archiving and Communications System
Position Summary:
The Supervisor PACS is responsible for supervising a team of imaging administrators, providing dependable imaging services. In addition, responsibilities include successful project delivery, financial health, process development and improvement, short-term and long-term strategies, and relationship management.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Supervises a team of imaging administrators to achieve departmental and organizational goals. Process time off, scheduling, disciplinary and other human resource duties as required to support subordinate staff.
- Interfaces with McLaren Health Care supporting partners, ensuring strong relationships and contractual commitments are being met
- Manages the delivery of projects within imaging service areas, meeting time, schedule and quality commitments
- Collaborates with process teams to create and improve process contributing to imaging service areas dependability and efficiency.
- Understands organizational resources, priorities, needs and policies within the McLaren Health Care organization.
Qualifications:
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 10 years of progressively responsible IT & imaging service operations experience
· 3 years of experience managing multiple cross functional teams or projects
Preferred:
· Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certified
· 3 years Health Information Technology experience
· 3 years’ service delivery management experience in a 24hours/7 day a week operation
· Certification(s) in any of the following disciplines: Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Lean, Agile certification(s)
