Nurse Assistant- Nursing Float Pool
Qualifications:
Required:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Formal education or training in a medical careers program OR enrollment in nursing school OR two or more years’ experience in a Patient Care Associate/Nurse Assistant role
· BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent, is required before start date and valid at least 60 days beyond start date
Preferred:
· Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
· One year prior work experience in a patient care environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Good interpersonal and communication skills. -required
· Demonstrated ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads and to prioritize and complete assigned work with limited supervision. -required
· Ability to follow instructions and record patient information-required
· Prioritize assigned tasks and organize work-required
· Concentrate and play close attention to details while performing patient family centered care-required
