Material Handler
Position Summary:
Under close supervision, receives stores, distributes and charges all materials used by the Hospital in the performance of patient care.
General Requirements:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1) Receives, verifies, checks for damage, unpacks, labels and stores all materials delivered to the warehouse/hospital by vendors.
2) Issues from stock all items requisitioned by hospital departments.
3) Distributes all items ordered from stock to the hospital and outlying facilities.
4) Inputs all inventory transactions into the computerized perpetual inventory system.
5) Maintains shelving and storage area as assigned to include numbering of stock and cleaning storage areas.
6) Unloads delivery truck when assigned.
7) Verifies perpetual inventory on-hand values by conducting an annual inventory.
8) Maintains warehouse inventory of records.
9) Performs other tasks as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma
- This position requires a one-month on the job training period.
- Chauffeur’s License is required.
