Enterprise Resource Planning Architect
Provides integrated applications ERP expertise for departmental and corporate operations and provides expertise to guide vendor staff in implementing, maintaining, and upgrading assigned ERP solutions used across McLaren subsidiaries. Also, establishes and enforces processes for resolving solution deficiencies and enhancing solution capability.
Works with all aspects of assigned areas of expertise which could include one or more of :
- Finance – General Ledger, Budgeting, Forecasting, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable
- Supply Chain – purchasing, eCommerce, Inventory Control, Requisition Workflow
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develops strategic roadmap for the continue advancement of business systems across McLaren Corporate and subsidiary departments.
- Maintains overall functioning of integrated departmental and enterprise-wide solutions.
- Provides guidance and mentorship to systems analysts for the on-going maintenance, testing, workflow development, workflow analysis, technical build/configuration, change documentation, testing, and application deployment/support of departmental and enterprise-wide applications.
- Leads site pre-assessment visits for subsidiaries and sites transitioning to standard ERP, to ensure overall readiness. Also, serves as the primary IT applications expert for the department and corporate users during subsidiary and site activations.
- Oversees and configures ERP and related systems, including user security, parameter settings, and business rules.
- Responsible for solution build within the ERP for any new hospital, service line, acute, and ambulatory venues for departmental and enterprise-wide projects.
- Collaborates with key parties to guide investigation and feasibility assessments of new technologies, applications, and systems related to evolving departmental and corporate needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field, accounting field, finance field, or information technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Equivalency is Associate degree plus 5 years of experience working in either healthcare or as an IT analyst)
- Minimum 10 years (15 years without Bachelor’s degree) information systems support experience in Peoplesoft or Kronos systems.
- Minimum 5 years (10 years without Bachelor’s degree) of healthcare finance or supply chain experience.
- Ability to travel to offices in all McLaren Regions. Travel will be kept to a minimum, unless additional resources are needed.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a pharmacy, healthcare, or information technology field.
- Certifications in primary PeopleSoft solution area or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)
