Wound Center Medical Assistant

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you’ll be joining a team of compassionate Wound Specialists that have touched the lives of thousands of people, preserving dignity and restoring hope.
What you’ll do:
As a CMA, you’ll provide and coordinate the delivery of clinical and non-clinical services under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider. Other responsibilities may include but aren’t limited to:
· Assist the RN or LPN/LVN during the patient’s intake/discharge process
· Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census
· Assist the center’s staff with clerical services

Who you are:
· An individual dedicated to creating Exceptional Patient Experiences with:
o A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED); Associate’s degree preferred
o Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or CNA or EMT or work experience equivalent.
o Graduate of a Medical Assistant program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEP) or by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)
o Passion for Wound Care, Wound Care experience preferred but not required
o Availability to work Monday – Friday standard daytime business hours
