Vice President Human Resources Services - ONSITE
Position Summary:
| Responsible for comprehensive support to the organization through creation and implementation of Human Resources, and assigned departments, strategic plans consistent with organizational and corporate goals and objectives. Primary responsibility for creating and maintaining sound human resources policies and practices covering employment, labor and employee relations, wage and salary administration, orientation and training, benefits, employee services, employee health services and security/safety. |
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· In conjunction with MHCC VP HR, creates MHCC Human Resources Services strategic plans and develops short and long-term department goals and promotes standardization that is consistent with organizational and corporate goals and objectives as well as coordinates all department operations providing services across MHCC.
· Develops and leads a staff of subject matter experts, constantly seeks opportunities to have the department work more efficiently and effectively while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.
· Provides guidance and direction to system leadership and the executive HR management team on human resources services issues, including compensation and benefit plan design, best practices, program compliance and technology upgrades.
· Oversees the administration of corporate wide compensation programs, including directing activities such as comparative data gathering or participation in external surveys or use of external survey data, related to maintaining and documenting internally equitable and externally competitive cash compensation programs. Ensures cash compensation programs and practices are in compliance with MHCC strategies as well as state and federal laws.
· Responsible for the administration of corporate wide health and insurance benefit programs, including the development and administration of MHCC employee benefits programs. In doing so, oversees related activities including processing of employee benefits claims, surveying competitor benefits programs, conducting studies of emerging benefits practices, counseling employees regarding benefits status, conducting education programs and enrollment processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
- Seven years of progressively more responsible human resources professional experience, including experience in compensation, benefits and retirement programs and HRIS systems.
- Three years at management level.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in healthcare.
