Qualifications:
Required:
Master’s degree required. If non-nursing Masters, Bachelor of science in nursing
additionally required.
• Current State of MI nursing license.
• Ten years’ experience of progressive responsibility within hospital operations managing
patient care services, leading improvements in quality, patient satisfaction, nursing
productivity and cost of care. Extensive experience building collaborative relationships
with physicians and other healthcare professionals and a record of driving cultural change
within an integrated delivery network.
Preferred:
• Preference to candidates who hold, or are in process of completing, an advanced degree
in nursing such as a Doctor of Nursing Practice or PhD in nursing-related field.
• Nurse Executive Certification.
• Prior role as hospital or regional Chief Nursing Officer or Chief Nursing Executive is
desired.
