Senior Provider Compensation Analyst - Remote in Michigan
Position Summary:
The position is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and administration of system-wide strategic provider compensation initiatives. The position is also responsible for the examination, interpretation, and processing of data to provide insights, solve problems, and support organizational decision-making within provider compensation.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for implementation of key Provider Compensation projects as assigned by Provider Compensation leadership. This will include effectively communicating project status updates and providing awareness to any potential project obstacles.
2. Actively participate in guidance, direction, motivation and development of department peers.
3. Originates and leads compensation practices and objectives.
4. Acts both independently and in concert with team; consistently exercises discretion and judgment in performing work which is predominantly intellectual and varied in nature.
5. Writes, modifies and executes various production, management, regulatory, customer and ad hoc databases and reports.
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
· Three years of prior experience in finance/accounting.
· Two years of experience in healthcare financial forecasting and analysis.
· One year working with large databases, data extraction and analysis.
Preferred:
· Experience in an integrated health system medical group, particularly in Provider Compensation
· Experience working with Cerner and HPP electronic medical and billing systems
· Experience with various data management
