Scheduler McLaren - Heart and Vascular
Sets up exams, procedures and tests for patients; handles customer service inquiries. Ensures the smooth operation by obtaining accurate and complete patient and insurance information.
- Deliver quality customer service by answering incoming phone calls or contacting patients by phone to determine appropriate exam/test/procedure and schedule patient appropriately.
- Review screening form and obtain/verify patient and insurance information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure best possible customer service by properly educating the patient on the exam/test/procedure preparation and answering related questions.
- Update patient record, including any notes necessary for the technologist, customer, or future reference.
- Follows site-specific protocols and keeps protocol documentation up-to-date to ensure compliance.
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred:
- Prior scheduling experience.
- Two years of experience, preferably in health care.
