Psychiatric Technician
Department: Behavioral Health Unit
Shift: Days
Daily Work Times: 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Scheduled Biweekly Hours: 72
Pay Range: $17.24 - $21.37 (based on full-time years' experience)
Position Summary:
Required:
- Associates degree in human services field or science, or;
- High school diploma with three years providing direct patient care in an inpatient psychiatric unit or residential setting, or;
- High school diploma with three years of relevant experience in human services (social services, law enforcement, community mental health, or criminal justice) or working as security officer in a hospital setting
Preferred:
- Certification as Psychiatric Technician Previous experience working on an inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric unit
