Program Coordinator 340B
Plans, manages, and coordinates the pharmacy 340B Drug Pricing Program for all qualified entities within the organization. Such management and coordination includes assuring qualifications for the program are met and maintained, the program is fully implemented in all areas of qualification, including covered entities and contracted pharmacies; related records are complete and accurate; and that it meets all primary objectives as defined by leadership.
- Oversight of 340B drug purchasing, inventory processes, monthly reporting, split-billing software maintenance, audits, contract pharmacy programs, and all areas of regulatory compliance.
- Synthesizes and analyzes all data related to participation in the 340B drug program.
- Responsible for day-to-day administration and operation of the 340B drug discount program
- Assures all use of 340B is fully compliant with all federal regulations and related interpretations for the program. Works with pharmacists and vendors, to ensure compliance.
- Achieves maximum utilization of 340B drugs and pricing through full participation in all qualified areas with all applicable products, including inpatient and referral contracts, to ensure greatest cost savings returns throughout the provider service system.
- Maximizes use of time, resources, and other costs in managing, monitoring, and fully participating in the program.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or pharmacy related field
OR
- High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years of pharmacy buying experience OR Associate degree in business/management, health care or related field and 3 years of pharmacy buying experience
- 1 year previous 340B Program knowledge
