Polysomnographic Tech
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED or higher
- No prior work experience is required
- Formal education or training beyond High School with formal training in the field of Polysomnography.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent, is required before start date and valid at least 60 days beyond start date.
- Successful completion or currently enrolled in a sleep education program recognized by the Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists(BRPT), the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), the American Board for Sleep Medicine(AASM); OR associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility. Recognized credential must be obtained within 1 year of date of hire.
Preferred:
- Credential in nursing, respiratory care, electroneurodiagnostics, or other allied health profession.
- One year of prior work experience in EEG, Respiratory Therapy or Polysomnography Technology.
