Plumber
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of prior work experience
- Course work should include one or more of the following: general shop work, sheet-metal working, electrical house wiring, piping installation, air conditioning and heating, steam powered equipment, and appliances used in plumbing and draining systems. Coursework desirable in some of the following: general shop work, sheet-metal working, electrical house wiring, piping installation, air conditioning and heating, and steam powered equipment.
- Valid Journeyman’s Plumbers’ License
- Backflow certification required within 9 months of starting date
- Must possess valid Michigan Driver’s License and be insurable under the hospital insurance program
- One to two years of formal education or training beyond High School(Specified above)
- Master Plumbers License
- Medical gas system installer certification
