Physical Therapy Clerk Aide
Rehab Aide - Part Time
Position summary: Works under the general supervision of the rehab director/manager/supervisor. Responsible for completing tasks associated with registration, insurance authorization, insurance verification, cashier, department scheduling, customer service inquires, etc. Along with various administrative and support functions for department or mid-level management to ensure overall efficiency of the department. Assists in the promotion of quality care by keeping the environment clean orderly and safe. The rehabilitation clerk is expected to perform assigned tasks within the quality and productivity standards assigned to the position responsibilities.
Job Specific Duties:
Required:
· High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
· Prior scheduling, insurance authorization and/or patient registration experience
· Two years of experience, preferable in rehabilitation health care setting.
