Patient Liaison
Qualifications:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience in a customer service or health care setting.
Preferred:
· Associate degree in related area.
· Formal customer service skill training.
· Two years related experience in program/service.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Well-developed communication and customer service skills, often in stressful situations.
- Demonstrated skill in problem solving and working effectively with people.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficient in MS Office and related computer programs.
- Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment necessary in
providing liaison services.
7. Knowledge of HIPAA including patient rights, privacy and confidentiality.
8. Ability to understand, interpret, explain, and use data.
9. Compliance with the Code of Ethics and Guide for Professional Conduct.
