Nurse Intern - Telemetry 4S
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Currently and actively enrolled in an accredited associate degree or Bachelor of Science (ADN/BSN) nursing program.

Successfully completed both theory and clinical aspects of "Fundamentals of Nursing" and a clinical rotation, preferably medical/surgical nursings.

BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent, is required before start date and valid at least 60 days beyond start date.
Preferred:

One year prior work experience as a nurse assistant.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and policy and procedures manuals.

A basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, anatomy.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.

Ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize appropriately.

Ability to work in stressful situations.

Compliance with the Code of Ethics and Guide for Professional Conduct.
