Nurse Assistant Certified - 1 N Transitional Unit
Department: 1 N Transitional Unit
Daily Work Times: 6:30 pm - 7:00 am
Shift: Nights
Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours: 72
Position Summary:
Under the direction of a Licensed Nurse, supports the Nursing Staff by performing basic nursing care to the resident. Assist and maintains a safe and clean work environment. Maintains resident privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and respects resident’s rights.
Responsibilities:
Hourly Rounding including: Pain, Position, Personal needs, and Possessions
Assist residents in and out of bed and into a wheelchair using the correct lifting and transferring technique.
Gives residents baths.
Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Successful completion of a Michigan State Certified Nurse Aide training program & current State of
· BLS Certification within 3 months of hire
Preferred:
- Previous experience as a Nurse Aide
