Manager Information Technology Technical Services
Position Summary:
Serves as the strategic interface between McLaren Health Care stakeholders and our key supporting partners ensuring critical success factors are met. Responsible for managing a team of IT specialists to provide dependable service delivery, successful project delivery, financial health, process development and improvement, short-term and long-term strategies and relationship management for their technology service areas.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities As Assigned:
- Manages a team of IT specialists to achieve departmental and organizational goals. Process time off, scheduling, disciplinary and other human resource duties as required to support subordinate staff.
- Manages the delivery of dependable technology services.
- Manages and reconciles IT budgets within technology service areas.
- Manages McLaren Health Care supporting partners, ensuring strong relationships and contractual commitments are being met.
- Manages the delivery of projects within technology service areas, meeting time, schedule and quality commitments.
- Collaborates with process teams to create and improve process contributing to technology service areas dependability and efficiency.
- Regularly interacts with cross-functional IT teams to assist in the design, develop and integrate IT processes and procedures utilizing best practices and industry standard frameworks.
Qualifications:
Required:
· High school diploma or GED
· 10 years of progressively responsible IT operations experience
· 4 years of leadership experience, managing multiple cross functional teams or projects
· 3 years of services delivery management experience, within multiple technology service areas, some of which are: security data center, server, storage, network, voice, call center, database, application presentation and middleware
OR
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field
· 6 years of progressively responsible IT operations experience
· 4 years of leadership experience, managing multiple cross functional teams or projects
· 3 years of services delivery management experience, within multiple technology service areas, some of which are: security, data center, server, storage, network, voice, call center, database, application presentation, and middleware
Preferred:
· Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certified
· 3 years Health Information Technology experience
· 5 years service delivery management experience in a 24hours/7 days a week operation
· Certification(s) in any of the following disciplines: Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Lean, Agile certification(s)
