Licensed Practical Nurse Lansing
Position Summary:
Performs nursing procedures/treatments within scope of nursing operations practice. Helps facilitate inter-team communication. Works under the direction of the registered professional nurse or charge nurse as assigned.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Administers medications and performs nursing procedures and treatments within the scope of practice.
2. Follows established plan of treatment and reports changes as appropriate for continuity and quality of care.
3. Provides for emotional and physical comfort and safety of patients.
4. Recognizes and understands the effects of social and economic problems of patients.
5. Documents in the patient’s medical record according to agency policy and procedure.
6. Attends mandatory in-services and staff meetings as indicated.

• Two years current nursing experience following graduation or at the discretion of the President.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
