Responsible for serving as the strategic interface with the assigned McLaren subsidiary for the purpose of business/IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. Serves as the business relationship linkage between the subsidiary and IT Delivery Operations. This position provides subsidiary vision and direction in concert with the subsidiary Clinical Information Specialist (CIS) for information systems, process design, data management and related processes. Responsible for actively resolving day-to-day technology needs of the assigned subsidiary with a focus on the analysis of processes—dissecting problems and suggesting solutions.

 
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Drives process improvement and standardization at assigned subsidiary location and amongst their peers
  • Identifies the assigned subsidiary needs/concerns proactively and works to resolve before formal escalations are needed
  • Coordinate and manage executive briefings and meetings based upon IT governance process.
  • Management of Third-party vendors
  • Oversight of ITIL based incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Manage to and communicate contractual service level agreements of McLaren supporting partners

Qualifications:
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Four years’ experience in health care information technology.
  • 3 additional years of IT and/or healthcare leadership experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments.
OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, business administration or related field. 
  • 3 years of IT and/or healthcare leadership experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments.
