Financial Analyst Research (Post-Award)
- Bachelors’ degree in accounting, science, nursing, or in a business-related field.
- Two years or more accounting or billing experience in a clinical, hospital or healthcare setting
- Must be familiar with basic clinical research and medical terminology
- Must be familiar with research fund management process.
- Master’s Degrees in Research Administration or equivalent
- Clinical Research Certification – CCRP or equivalent
- Clinical research /project management experience is preferred.
- Five years or more relevant clinical research budgets or clinical research legal experience may substitute for degree.
- Knowledge of CPT coding, hospital billing, and research billing.
- Ability to analyze and interpret legal contracts/documents.
- Understanding of non-profit or academic institution contractual issues, relevant contract law and health care policy.
