Exercise Physiologist
Qualifications:
Required:
· Bachelor's degree in exercise science or physiology.
· BLS certified within 30 days of hire.
·
Preferred:
· Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Society of Exercise Physiologists (ASEP).
· Master's degree.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
2. Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment necessary in providing exercise physiology.
3. Current knowledge of treatment theories, practices and techniques per discipline.
4. Ability to lead PT assistants and technicians.
5. Knowledge and skill with common office software applications.
6. Compliance with the Code of Ethics and Guide for Professional Conduct.
