Dosimetrist Proton Beam
Position Summary: Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of the Hospital. Designs a treatment plan and carries out calculations for the delivery of radiation treatment based on the radiation oncologist’s prescribed course of radiation therapy.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Associates degree with two (2) years of formal training in Radiological Technology or graduate of an approved dosimetry school.
- Two (2) years prior work experience with progressively more complex dosimetry and radiation therapy experience
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy, Certified by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board
