Critical Care Technician
Required:
1. Must have one of the following in addition to High School Diploma or GED:
· Patient Care Technician Diploma from a Vocational/Business School
· 1 year prior experience working as a Critical Care Technician
· Successful completion of Nursing Fundamentals. Preference will be given to those currently enrolled in an AND/BSN or LPN program.
· Licensed or Certified EMT or Graduate of an EMT program.
2. BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent, is required before start date and valid at least 60 days beyond start date.
Preferred:
· One year of prior work experience in a health-care facility
