Coordinator Clinical Research Senior - PART TIME
Responsible for facilitating research studies; providing knowledgeable information regarding each research protocol to the medical and nursing staff; evaluating the eligibility of potential candidates for research studies; assisting in the informed consent process; monitoring research study compliance; collecting and submitting data; coordinating required study procedures to meet protocol requirements and maintain a system for effective data flow.
Senior Clinical Research Coordinator
Essential Functions and Responsibilities as Assigned:
- Assume leadership assignments as necessary including precepting and mentoring, evaluating and coaching the performance of new research coordinators including providing progress report to manager.
- Assists in developing training manuals, on board training, quality improvement, and education plans.
- Independently manages a variety of assignments (including complex, early phase and multifaceted studies) as well as provide training and mentoring to the research team members with minimal guidance from others.
- Assist Supervisor or Manager in determining site staff workload assignments and completion of employee performance evaluation.
- Provides direct consultation, education, and problem-solving through phone calls and meetings with investigators and other ancillary staff on relevant protocols.
- Reviews, recommends, and revises workflows, guidance, SOPs, checklists, training and other documents to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate degree in science or other clinical area
- Five or more years of experience as a clinical research coordinator
- Clinical Research Certification through SOCRA or ACRP
Preferred:
- BA/BS degree in biology, psychology, or other clinical research -related area or equivalent education and experience
