Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Associate degree in allied health field; or bachelor’s of science degree as health science; or enrolled in an associate degree allied health program with a graduation date within six months and registry eligible RCIS.
- One year of current allied health experience in an acute care setting or registry eligible RCIS.
- BLS and ACLS certified if working Cardiac Cath Lab, CVU, ICU, Emergency Dept., Nursing Resource Pool, Ambulatory Surgery or Surgical Services. Certifications (BLS, ACLS, ALS, PALS) must be issued directly by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent.
