Administrative Assistant
In this role, the Administrative Assistant will provide direct support of the Vice President and Associate Center Director of Research Administration, and general support for the office of Research Administration. The successful candidate will be proactive, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks with ease. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Meeting Coordination: Manage and coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings. Assists in the detailed preparation for major events, retreats, and seminars
- Communication: Highly adept at written and verbal communication. Serves as a representative of the Research Administration office and should professionally handle incoming and outgoing communications (email, phone calls, mail) on behalf of the VP/ACD of Research Administration
- Office Organization: Organize and maintain office filing systems and databases
- Travel Arrangement: Arranging travel and managing related expenses
- Supply Management: Adept at monitoring and ordering necessary supplies.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Competent in interacting with administrative support personnel across the cancer center
- Microsoft Office Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
