340B Analyst
Position Summary:
Develops and maintains policies and standard operating procedures for the 340B Drug Pricing Program. Maintains database to reflect changes in drug formularies, assures system integrity, analyzes purchasing data, and monitors ordering processes and documentation related to pharmacy supply chain compliance with state and federal regulations.

1. Develops systems and processes to limit program liabilities and provides proper audits to identify risk and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion. 2. Maintains HRSA/OPA audit readiness at all times. 3. Monitors purchasing patterns of contract pharmacies and analyzes potential compliance-related issues. 4. Recommends refinements of accounting or contractual agreements with contract pharmacies. 5. Generates reports out of data system software for contract pharmacy program and management review. 6. Reviews rejected claims for additional/savings opportunities and compliance. 7. Conducts quarterly (at a minimum) self-audits of contract pharmacies for patient eligibility and duplicate discount problems (annual external audit recommended by OPA; quarterly internal audit is best practice). 8. Performs other related duties as required and directed. |
Qualifications:
Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of pharmacy buying experience OR
associate degree in business/management, health care or related field and 3 years of pharmacy buying experience.
· Licensed and certified pharmacy technician
· 1 year experience with 340 B Program or pharmacy contract price management with financial oversight
